Tim’s work is inspired by Australian wildlife - it’s as much how they see us as how we see them

Our anthropomorphic reaction can spark different thinking about wildlife - their lack of sentimentality allowing us to project how they perceive us. Tim likes the work being loud without forcing any preconceived messages. That goes for both composition and colour

Tim calls his works lightcuts - like woodcuts sculpted with light - using his own original practice to make wildlife portraits beyond simple representation. His medium is fine art pigment on giclée metallic paper

Born in New South Wales and based in South Australia, Tim did his Masters at Yale and double Undergrad degrees at Sydney University
